Chromecast 1st generation:

  • Plug the device on the television, hold the button on the chrome device and the LED light turns into a flashing red light.
  • The light will then turn white and the screen of the television will be blank.
  • Release the button and allow it to reboot the settings.

Chromecast 2nd generation:

  • Plug Chromecast on television.
  • Hold the button and the LED will turn into orange color. When it turns white release the button and let it reboot the settings.
  • Now you can set up your device as new.
