Muicles fruits are capsules.  It consists of many active chemical compounds which can be helpful for laboratory purposes.

It is A shrub with herbaceous stems that become woody from the bottom up with age. Its Leaf retention is Evergreen. The growth rate is very Moderate. It Size: 3′ high and 4′ wide. Its Flowers are Bright orange, narrowly tubular. It blooms in Mid-winter to mid-fall in regions without freezes. Its Leaves are Green, velvety surface, oval with a pointed tip. It has no thorns, and its stem is soft.

It Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. A caterpillar food plant for the Texan Crescent butterfly. It is Deer resistant and it is not toxic at all. Its ph is 6.6 to 8.5 which is nearly neutral. It needs water once or twice a month. It can survive without water for so long.
