No one hates having a sweet dessert after a meal. In particular, if you want to control calories, it is best to eat homemade desserts. In this article, I introduce a chocolate mousse recipe that you can easily make at home. Make it when you need to reward yourself sometimes.

In this article, let’s learn how to make chocolate mousse, and how to do it in detail!

Healthy Low-Calorie Recipes

If you go to a bakery, you can find delicious desserts everywhere. However, commercial desserts contain high amounts of artificial sweeteners, dyes, and unhealthy ingredients.

We need to know which foods we should eat more of and which foods we should eat less of. The traditional mousse recipe will be introduced first, followed by the low-calorie mousse recipe.

What is Mousse?

Mousse, which means foam in French, is a French dessert. Usually, egg whites or whipped cream are spread underneath.  The reason many people love mousse is that the texture is so soft and delicious. Some countries even make mousse with fish and vegetables.

The main ingredients for the mousse are sugar, egg whites, whipped cream (or just cream), chocolate, and butter. However, by changing a few ingredients, you can create a lower-calorie mousse.

So, I no longer have to put up with the craving for dessert because of the fear of gaining weight. Learn how to make chocolate mousse at home in this article! It is good to eat alone, of course, when you invite friends or family.

Homemade Chocolate Mousse Recipe

The heart of the mousse is egg white. If you don’t want eggs, you can use whipped cream instead of eggs. You can use either one or both, depending on your preference.
